Arity’s interns bring fresh eyes to our mission of making transportation smarter, safer, and more useful for everyone. In celebration of National Intern Day, we are excited to highlight interns on our Analytics, Engineering, Marketing, Operational Excellence, Product, Sales, Customer Success, and People & Culture teams.
Analytics
Arity is constantly collecting and deciphering billions of miles of driving data. Our Analytics team not only knows how to analyze and find meaning within this data but is passionate about how it affects the end-users of our products.
Mehdi Bouassami
Role: Data Science Intern
Major: Data Science and Math at University of California San Diego
Career goals: Either continuing working on my startup or work in the industry as a data scientist.
Engineering
Our engineers make critical advances in areas like sensor technology, enterprise engineering, and platform development. Our team understands what it means to collaborate and communicate in an interconnected global team, all while having trust, transparency, and empathy for the end user.
Vincent Lin
Role: Software Engineer Intern
Major: Computer Science at University of California, Berkeley
Career goals: Become a seasoned engineer/developer.
Gandhar Mannur
Role: Site Reliability Engineering – Security
Major: Computer Science & Economics at University of California, Davis
Career goals: I want to explore more of the Infrastructure domain and expand my knowledge through all verticals of the development cycle. I hope to lead the Infrastructure or Engineering team one day at a data-driven company with an interesting product.
Marketing
Our Marketing team drives the creative vision of the Arity brand and grows demand for Arity’s products. From company events and public speaking engagements, to visual design strategy and product messaging, our team works hard to ensure that our Sales and Customer Success teams, and everyone at Arity, have the tools they need to effectively communicate the value of Arity’s products.
Abhijit Samudrala
Role: Product Marketing Intern
Major: Informatics and Analytics at Rutgers University – New Brunswick
Career goals: Product management or analyst (FOI: Financial Services, Tech, Consumer Products, Consulting, Sports)
Isabel Vasich
Role: Brand Design (Marketing) Intern
Major: Graphic Design from Columbia College Chicago
Career goals: Lead an award-winning, multi-disciplined team whose client projects support the creation of self-driven projects.
Alex Thomas
Role: Brand Marketing and Operations Intern
Major: Sociology at Colby College
Career goals: I want to continue exploring the different areas of marketing. I would love to lead a marketing team at a sports or entertainment agency/company.
Operational Excellence
Our Operational Excellence team ensures Arity is an industry leader both in terms of the products we offer, and by the way in which we deliver and deploy them to our customers.
Luca Pedrelli
Role: Operational Excellence Intern
Major: Finance & Entrepreneurship at The University Of Utah
Career goals: Explore several different aspects of Finance, with hopes to land in a role that exercises practices of mergers & acquisitions. In addition, I want to learn how to add value and revitalize struggling companies through turnarounds.
Product
Our Product team collaborates regularly with our engineers, designers, customers, and stakeholders to understand what must be done and why. They work with the development team to solve tough problems and produce great results.
Liya Patel
Role: Experience Design Intern
Major: Marketing at Georgia State University
Career goals: Lead a design team to push the boundaries of the industry through creativity, innovation, and user-centered design. The goal is to become a Director of UX.
Saratchandra Abhishek
Role: Product Manager Intern
Major: Engineering Management at University of Southern California
Career goals: Become a great Product Manager; solve real-world user problems by building innovative products using technology at scale. I want people to love using the products that I build with my team and add value to their lives.
Sales
Our Sales team members are passionate and excited about the opportunity to drive change not just for customers, but for an entire industry. They help our business take off by being innovative, transparent, and holding a desire to do the right thing.
Arman Lone
Role: Business Development Intern
Major: Finance & Information Systems at Indiana University
Career goals: Pursue a career in management consulting, found my own start-up, build a philanthropic foundation for education reform.
Customer Success
As the connection between the client and company, the Customer Success team serves as both the voice of the customer and the face of Arity. Collaborating daily with sales, engineering, product, and business strategy teams, Customer Success manages diverse relationships with grace and skill.
Pratiksha Bhattacharyya
Role: Customer Success Intern
Major: Computer Science and Economics at Yale University
Career goals: I want to work in a bunch of industries and figure out what I like, also go to business school.
People & Culture
The People & Culture teams play a key role in making Arity a great place to work for every employee, working hand in hand with employees and leaders to create employee programs, develop recruiting strategies, and promote employee engagement and retention.
Kailey Meyer
Role: People & Culture Intern
Major: Organizational Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte
Career goals: Be an internal or external consultant where I leverage data-driven decision making to enhance workplace environments, optimizing both employee well-being and satisfaction and organizational effectiveness.
