In celebration of National Intern Day, we are excited to highlight how each is adding significant value across the entire organization: Analytics, Engineering, Marketing, Operational Excellence, Product Management, and Sales teams.
Arity is constantly collecting and deciphering billions of miles of driving data. Our Analytics team not only knows how to analyze and find meaning within this data but is passionate about how it affects the end-users of our products.

What’s something you have learned during your internship? I’ve learned about the AWS data pipeline for machine learning model and strategies to address, tackle, and solve real-world data issues in a productive environment.

What’s something you have learned during your internship? How to practice Agile software development by attending daily standups, sprint planning, and backlog refinements. Also learned more about Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) by familiarizing myself with Jenkins in order to update production pipelines. Also learned how to test Arity Service API by adding/updating unit and integration tests.

Our Marketing team drives the creative vision of the Arity brand and grows demand for Arity’s products. From company events and public speaking engagements, to visual design strategy and product messaging, our team works hard to ensure that our Sales and Customer Success teams, and everyone at Arity, have the tools they need to effectively communicate the value of Arity’s products.

What’s something you have learned during your internship? I have learned a lot about the variety of tech within the insurance field as well as the advancements of mobility intelligence. Looking at a variety of different companies and products that the industry offers to help both companies and consumers has been really cool, and I hope that my analysis helps Arity make decisions to be a leader in the field.

What’s something you have learned during your internship? It is essential to present your work in context, not just for your clients but also your coworkers and peers. For example, for a website project, I made fully rendered wireframes to show how a module would look in the context of a full website.

What’s something you have learned during your internship? I’ve gained valuable experience in employee communications, public relations, social media, and event planning during my time at Arity. It’s been super insightful to learn about what goes into planning a new company initiative, or how we communicate about our products to other businesses and the public at large.

What’s something you have learned during your internship? This summer at Arity I learned what a pivot table is and how to create one. With collaboration and a lot of learning, I am now training others about it! Arity has allowed me space to grow and a lot of support with my projects. The wonderful people at Arity teach me something new every day, and I am excited to continue learning!

What’s something you have learned during your internship? While I’ve learned a great deal about mobility data, telematics, and how Arity helps make transportation smarter, safer, and more useful, I’ve also learned that complexity can be overcome through thoughtful communication. Clear communication is the bridge that aligns teams, stakeholders, and customers such that complicated systems can be digested, ambiguous data can be analyzed, and value propositions can be expressed. At Arity, I’ve seen the power of communication across channels first-hand and its effect on creating meaningful impact.
Our Sales team members are passionate and excited about the opportunity to drive change not just for customers, but for an entire industry. They help our business take off by being innovative, transparent, and holding a desire to do the right thing.
